ERROR MESSAGES

We do our best to create the best possible site for you, our members. However, errors do occasionally occur. If you have received an error message, and are wondering what it means, and what you might be able to do to avoid it in the future, please refer to the list below of common browser error messages.

Server Error

If you have received a server error we would like to know as soon as possible. This is most likely due to a modification we are making and normal service will return shortly. It would help us if you could fill out a Bug Report.

404: Not Found

We try very hard to ensure the quality of our website but errors do occur. If you have received a "not found" error, we would like to know as soon as possible. It would help us if you could fill out a Bug Report.

Insecure Document

When you access Playboy Cyber Club, you will go through a security warning. Our new system protects your password and financial information. Simply click on "O.K." and you'll go into an unprotected area where our content is located.

Our new system is designed to allow you to check on your account status and change your password and other confidential information in the most secure manner available.

Bad Bookmark

We're sorry for the confusion, but our site is still there! We need you to update your bookmarks. You should throw the old bookmark away first.

Playboy Cyber Club can be accessed in two ways:

Go to www.playboy.com and select Playboy Cyber Club from the navigation bar. Or go directly to http://cyber.playboy.com

Once at the login page you can set your new bookmark to access the Playboy Cyber Club.

Don't forget: when you access Playboy Cyber Club, you will be going from a secure site that protects your password and financial information to our content area. Simply click "O.K." and you'll be fine.

Transfer Interrupted

If you stop a transfer before the page has finished loading, you will receive a "Transfer Interrupted" message. You may also receive this message if network traffic is excessive.

Please click "Reload" or try to access the page again. If this doesn't help try "Super Reload."

On a PC, hold down "Shift" while clicking "Reload" or "Refresh."

On a Mac, hold down "Option" while clicking "Reload."

You may also want to try clearing your "Cache."

Netscape Navigator 6.x & 7.x (Mac and PC)
1) Select "Preferences" in the Edit menu.
2) Click the "Advanced" tab.
3) Click the "Cache" tab.
4) Clear both "Disk" and "Memory" and increase them to at least 8000 K each.

Netscape Navigator 5.x (Mac and PC)
1) Select "Preferences" in the Edit menu.
2) Click the "Advanced" tab.
3) Click the "Cache" tab.
4) Clear both "Disk" and "Memory" and increase them to at least 8000 K each.

Netscape Navigator 4.x (Mac and PC)
1) Select "Preferences" in the Edit menu.
2) Click the "Advanced" tab.
3) Click the "Cache" tab.
4) Clear both "Disk" and "Memory" and increase them to at least 8000 K each.

Netscape Navigator 3.x (Mac and PC)
1) Select "Net Preferences" in the Options menu.
2) Clear both "Disk" and "Memory" and increase them to at least 8000 K each.

MSIE 3.x (Mac and PC)
1) Select "Options" in the View menu.
2) Click the "Navigation" tab.
3) Clear History.

MSIE 4.x (Mac and PC)
1) Select "Options" in the View menu.
2) Click the "Navigation" tab.
3) Clear History.

MSIE 5.x (PC)
1) Select "Internet Options" in the Tools menu.
2) Click the "General" tab.
3) Under the "Temporary Internet Files" header click "Delete Files."

MSIE 5.x (Mac)
1) Select "Preferences" in the Edit menu.
2) Click the "Advanced" tab.
3) Clear History.

MSIE 6.x (PC)
1) Select "Internet Options" in the Tools menu.
2) Click the "General" tab.
3) Under the "Temporary Internet Files" header click "Delete Files."

Remember, Due to the high-quality graphics of Playboy Cyber Club, some pages will load slower than others. Please be patient.
